About Us

In 2019, Concord University was the first public university in the state of West Virginia to develop an Esports program. Ever since, Concord Esports has captured 24 national championships, 8x Call of Duty, 2x Fortnite, 14x Rocket League. On top of that, Concord has been recognized for numerous accomplishments such as being a finalist for the 2024 CECC Program of the Year, Finalists for the 2024 CECC Program Impact Award, the 2024 ECAC Commissioners Cup recipient, Finalists for the 2025 Program of the Year and Production Team of the Year for the Scholastic Esports Awards.
